The following text contains the standard dialogue of La Vendor, the mysterious proprietor of "The Voracious Vampire", an Inn on the Harrowfang Mire. A somber and melancholic fellow, La Vendor offers complementary relationship advice with his drinks. ​

This sample takes place within the world of the "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim". The project makes use of a unified styleguide to streamline writing and implementation as much as possible. As with all dialogue written for the Creation Engine, NPC lines have a maximum character limit of 149, while the player has a maximum of 80 characters available. Purple marks implementation notes, while words and sentences written in orange are directions for the Voice Actors. In this branching dialogue, the NPC lines are written in regular, while the player's possible prompts are highlighted in bold. The NPC dialogue will follow the numbered lists downwards in any given column.
